Sign up to participate! (see below)
Contact your SFF District chair to pick up your door hangers (make sure to put your Unit information on the door hangers)
Distribute your door hangers
Pick up food where you distributed your door hangers
Drop off the food at your organization of choice or as assigned by District SFF Chairs
Record your food totals (more information coming soon)

Community Members

Collect non-perishable items (more information on ideal foods below) that you would like to donate
Encourage your neighbors, friends, and family members to donate as well
Look at for door hangers in your neighbor
If no door hangers are distributed, you can drop off food at the Council Service Center: 701 Wyman Park Dr, Baltimore, MD 21211

We recommend that Units conduct their Food Drive across two consecutive weekends.

The first weekend is to distribute their door hangers and the second is to collect food donations.

2022 Dates:

March 19-20

March 26-27

If your Unit has a previous commitment and needs to choose a different date, please contact your SFF District Chair.

Most Needed Items:

Canned fruit and vegetables
Canned tuna, chicken, or salmon in water
Canned or dried beans, peas, or lentils low sodium
Whole grain pasta and flour
Brown rice, barley, quinoa
Whole-grain cereal
Shelf-stable milk dairy, soy, rice, etc.
Natural peanut butter plastic containers only
Olive or canola oil plastic containers only

Additional Items Needed:

Hearty soup, stew, or chili
Tomato or pasta sauce
Paper Products
Diapers
Toiletries

Units, please contact your Scouting For Food District Chair below to register to participate in the 2022 Food Drive.

Let them know, your Unit number, contact information, how many Scouts are participating, and what dates you will be distributing flyers and picking up donations.
