The Scout Oath states, “To help other people at all times.” Scouting For Food is a Council-wide initiative to help combat hunger in our community. Food insecurity affects millions of families every year; this past year COVID-19 added an extra struggle. No one should ever go hungry, and the reality is, more families are having a tough time feeding their family because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Baltimore Area Council is committed to helping those in need…but we need your help!

Scouts

  1. Sign up to participate! (see below)
  2.  Contact your SFF District chair to pick up your door hangers (make sure to put your Unit information on the door hangers)
  3. Distribute your door hangers
  4. Pick up food where you distributed your door hangers
  5. Drop off the food at your organization of choice
  6. Record your food totals (more information coming soon)
