Earning a Merit Badge

Boy Scouts can earn more than 125 merit badges covering topics such as sports, crafts, science, trades, and business, and provide insight into the myriad topics available.  Earning a merit badge is easy.  Simply pick a topic that interests you and discuss that interest with an adult leader in your troop.  He will get you set up with a merit badge card and counselor.  Simply contact that counselor and arrange to meet to get started.  Don't forget to take a buddy with you  every time you meet with any adult!  Complete the requirements to your counselor's satisfaction and turn your completed card into your troop to complete the process.
