Adventure in a BOX for 2020 -- The deadline for ordering is June 30!  Delivery from BAC will be in late July (unless you chose pick up).

ALL BSA registered Cub Scouts, all districts, welcome!


Please note required forms:  Med Form A&B; Adult YPT, Over-The-Counter Authorization, Adult Training Certifications....

  • Required paperwork can be submitted at the monthly district Roundtable, the monthly district committee meeting, and the monthly district commissioner meeting -- Please see Michele Quintal, the registrar from February through May; Electronic copies of any medical form will not be accepted as a paper copy is required.
    • Forms can also be submitted at any of the trainings (6/25 @Baldwin; 6/29 @DFRC; and 8/3 @DFRC)
    • Forms can also be submitted to your pack's Camp Tomahawk Liaison, for them to submit to camp admin
  • Submission of Med Form A & B and Over The Counter Authorization Forms are required prior to the start of camp, for youth to attend; Registration is considered "complete" with payment and submission of completed/signed forms.
  • Submission of Med Form A & B, YPT and other requested certifications is required for all Full Week Adult Volunteers.

Please note the Required Orientation for all participants:  Sunday, August 16, 4 - 6 pm

Who can register?

Incoming Wolf through Arrow of Light Cubs -- with a Family Adult needed just one day, but "travel" with your cub scout all week and have fun exploring!  Discount will be applied for those who have "all week" family adult presence while at camp.  This group of cubs are entering 2nd grade through 5th grade this September.

Pre-School Siblings, Incoming Lion and Tiger Cubs -- Family Adult presence at camp is required for each day of attendance.  This group is potty-trained.  Incoming Lions will be entering Kindergarten in September while Incoming Tigers will be starting 1st grade.

Youth Aides / Scouts-- Incoming 6th Graders through 17 years old -- Earn community service leadership hours, hone your communication / leadership / people skills while either traveling with a den, or helping to run a station!  Please note that youth aides are required to volunteer all week (Monday through Friday) and attend required Sunday Orientation along with required training session before camp.

Adults -- Parents/Guardians, College Age Siblings, Aunts & Uncles, Grandparents.  Camp Tomahawk is a 100% volunteer run camp. Adults are station staff, summer den leaders, and daily den helpers.  Families must provide at least one adult one day.  During the registration process, you are required to select the specific day(s) the family adult is volunteering.  Come for the whole week and have fun with your cub scout!

**Please double check that when you reach the "pull down" page for the types and numbers of each participant, you have at least one adult if you are also registering any youth 6th grade and below!**

When can I register?

  • Regular Registration: Starting February 1, 2020. Must be completed by June 1. (all forms and payment submitted)
  • Late Registration: From June 2, through Registration Closure (when full or by JULY 15) ... Late fee applied.
  • Late registrations are not guaranteed to be placed with their usual Cub Scout Den or Pack, nor receive an accurate t-shirt size or quantity, even if purchasing additional t-shirts.

Camp Tomahawk continues to welcome boys and girls.  Girls will be again be placed in their own age-appropriate dens and go to all stations for their Cub Scout rank. For questions and/or assistance, please contact

Checks may be made out to Baltimore Area Council, with Camp Tomahawk noted in the memo line.... All payments must be received by the above dates, in order to be considered paid.  Checks can be submitted with the medical paper forms from February through May...either at The Capitol District Roundtables or at the Trainings (Please see  Michele).  For check payments submitted from mid-May through June, please contact

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a change in Baltimore Area Council policy, there is a 4% convenience fee for any payments via credit card.  The convenience fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
All registrations are final with the only the following exceptions: * Illness/Injury with physician's note to excuse * Moving from the area * Legal custody issue with court order * Requirement to attend summer school * There is no refund of the convenience fee.
