Camp Tomahawk Cub Scout Day Camp - August 9 to 13, 2021
2021 Theme:  Down on the Farm!

BSA registered Cub Scouts from Maryland welcome!

  • Registrations will be initially wait listed; payment is NOT required while on the wait list.  EVERYONE starts on the wait list.

  • Wait listed persons will be processed and moved to registered status as the family's medical forms are received by the Camp Registrar. 

  • Payment should be made within 7 days once moved to "registered" status.

We appreciate your understanding and patience with the registration process.


Please see this list for the required medical forms. Youth who will need medication administered during the camp day may need additional forms

  • All required medical/health paperwork must be submitted via PAPER copy.  Electronic copies and electronic submissions are not permitted. 

    • All required paperwork can be submitted to your pack's (or troop's) Camp Tomahawk Liaison as soon as possible, through May.  Your unit liaison will periodically submit through May 31st, all physical paperwork to the Camp Tomahawk Registrar. 

    • Physical paper forms may also be submitted directly to the Registrar;  Please email the Registrar to make arrangements for the physical submission of PAPER forms.  Emailed medical forms will NOT be accepted.
    • Registration is considered "complete" with full payment and submission of completed/signed forms.

  • All Week Adult Volunteers are required to be current BSA registered, and will need to submit a copy of Youth Protection Training as well may need to upload additional specific certifications.

Please note the Required Orientation for all participants:  Sunday, August 8, 3 - 4 pm (This will either be a staggered arrival activity, or be moved online.)

Who can register?

  • Incoming Wolf through Arrow of Light Cubs -- This group of current BSA registered cubs are entering 2nd grade through 5th grade this September. Discount will be applied for those who have a family adult volunteer, either All Week, or for a Set up or Break Down Day, or even during the week. 

  • As of 5/7/21, younger campers are also able to experience Camp Tomahawk.  These younger campers MUST have an family adult registered and on site the same day as their own attendance.  Pre-K (2yo to 4yo, must be 100% potty trained); Incoming Lions, Incoming TigersDiscounted pricing if accompanied by an all week adult volunteer!  Younger Camper Program Pricing

Camp Tomahawk is a 100% volunteer run camp.

  • Youth Aides / Scouts-- Incoming 6th Graders through 17 years old -- Current BSA Registered Scouts Earn community service leadership hours, hone communication / leadership / people skills while either traveling with a den, or helping to run a station!  These youth aides earn tons of service hours as  this group of youth aides are required to volunteer all week (Monday through Friday) and attend required Sunday Orientation along with required training session before camp.

  • Youth Aide -- Setup Only (Saturday or Sunday).  This particular group of youth aides are specifically helping just as part of the Setup Days (Saturday or Sunday), and will earn service hours.

  • Adults -- 2021 Adults will have the option of volunteering the full week, or assisting at setup or breakdown, or even during the week itself; both categories have a capacity limit. All adult volunteers receive a discount receive a discount towards their cub's registration fees for Camp Tomahawk. All Week Adult Volunteers must be BSA registered (ask your pack how!) and are admin staff, station staff or summer den leaders, and their family's cub registration fees are further discounted.

**Please double check that when you reach the "pull down" page for the types and numbers of each participant, you are selecting enough person slots for each person that is being registered.

When can I register?

  • Regular Registration: Starting March 1, 2021. Must be completed by April 15. (all forms and payment submitted) -- Extended to April 29th.
  • Late Registration: From April 16, (changed to April 30) through Registration Closure (when full or by May 31) ... Late fee applied.
  • Late registrations are not guaranteed to be placed with their usual Cub Scout Den or Pack, nor receive an accurate t-shirt size or quantity, even if purchasing additional t-shirts.

All persons must wear a MASK while on camp grounds.  (The exception would be when actively eating, drinking, or in the pool.)  Failure to wear a mask means the person is choosing to leave the camp facilities, and may be asked to leave by Camp Tomahawk admin.

  • Cub Scouts and the younger campers are required to wear this year's Camp Tomahawk camper shirt.

  • Youth Aides are required to wear this year's Camp Tomahawk Youth Aide shirt, if they are full week youth aides.

  • Adult All Week Volunteers are required to wear this year's Camp Tomahawk Adult shirt.

  • 1-4 day volunteers (less than all week) should wear a t-shirt (Scout acceptable messages/pictures or blank please). 

We ask all volunteers and participants to be mindfully present in all activities.



  • As of 2020, there is a 4% convenience fee for any payments via credit/bank card.  The convenience fee is non-refundable. 

  • Payment via check is acceptable; Checks made out to Baltimore Area Council, with memo line "Camp Tomahawk" and the named registrants. -- Please contact the Camp Registrar for check delivery directions.

Cancellation Policy
Supplies are ordered and purchased months in advance of camp. Please do your best to stay healthy before camp. Plan ahead and limit unnecessary trips and stops the weeks before camp and during camp week. Otherwise, all registrations are final with the only the following exceptions: * Full Camp Cancellation * Moving out of state * Legal custody issue with court order * Requirement to attend summer school * There is no refund of the convenience fee.
