2019 Klondike Derby - Save the Date!

Saturday, January 26th, 2019

What is a Klondike Derby?  It's FUN!

Cub Scout Trail:  Cub Scouts will learn about the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush while having fun and playing games!   The Cub Scout Klondike trail is an outdoor trail activity approximately 1.5 miles long and is intended for Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and first year Webelos.

Boy Scout Trail:  The Boy Scout trail is intended for first and second year Webelos and Boy Scouts below the rank of First Class.  The Klondike Derby Boy Scout trail is a three mile hike with multiple stations designed to test scout skills required for First Class.

Note that first year Webelos have a choice of trails, but the Klondike staff recommends the Boy Scout Trail, especially if the Webelos have participated on the Cub Scout Trail in earlier years.

Event Chairman:  Dan Phillips (503-758-3471, scouterdanmail@gmail.com)
