 WHAT is a Klondike Derby:

 Boy Scout Trail: ...The Boy Scout trail is intended for Webelos and Boy Scouts below the rank of First Class.  The Klondike Derby Boy Scout trail is a three mile hike with multiple stations designed to test scout skills required for First Class...Click Here for MORE!



$12.50 for Scouts
$4 for Non-BSA Registered Adults
Free for BSA Registered Adults
$4 for extra patches. 
Overnight Camping Fee of $2 (per individual)

Registration is due by January 24, 2015.  To reduce congestion on the trails and park, registration will be limited to the first 600 Scouts on the Cub Scout Trail and the first 50 sleds on the Boy Scout Trail.  Units are strongly encouraged to register before January 13 at the lower registration fee.  Any units registering after January 13 will pay late fees for all participants.  Registration is not complete until the fees are received for the number of participants indicated.

Cancellation Policy
This event is subject to cancellation due to weather or other safety conditions, as determined by the NPD event staff or the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Event organizers will follow the BSA Guide to Safe Scouting and their own judgment when considering safety issues. NPD will make every reasonable effort to hold the event; however, if the event is cancelled, NPD will not be able to offer refunds but will distribute event materials in an equitable manner.
