Procedures for obtaining Eagle Scout Project Approvals: After you have obtained the appropriate approvals from the benefiting organizations, Scoutmaster and Troop Committee, You will need to get the Chesapeake District’s approval before starting any physical work on your Eagle Scout project. You can obtain the District’s approval for your Eagle Scout project by contacting Mr. Rich Gambrill, District Advancement Chair, or one of the District’s Advancement Committee members(if Mr. Gambrill is unavailable) using the contact information listedbelow. You will first need to complete at least pages 1,6,7,8,9,and 10 of the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook and submit a copy of it to the District Advancement Committee. The Is a fillable PDF and can be done mostly on the computer, You may need to scan page 10 since you will need to get signatures. Submitting via E-mail to Mr. Gambrill works best, but submitting a photo copy of your project workbook is acceptable. Please call him before submitting so he knows to expect it. Please call Mr. Gambrill for delivery instructions if you will hand delivering a copy of your project workbook to the District Advancement Committee.
